The TOP TEN List
The RV Top Ten List is exactly that…it consists of the Top 10 things that you want or need in the perfect RV!
What are all the top items you absolutely must have when purchasing your first or next RV? Think about why you want the RV, how you will use it, who you will be traveling with, how much time you will spend in it and locations where you want to travel. All these (and more) should have a significant impact on your decision. Is it important to you to have access to a bathroom, fridge, or bedroom without actually stopping and setting up your RV? Then those items should be part of your Top Ten list. Once you narrow it down to the Top Ten items, it will be much easier for you to decide.
The more you pare down your list and prioritize your actual needs versus wants the easier it will be to find your perfect RV. Remember that no one unit will likely meet all of your criteria so be prepared to make adjustments.

The results of your search are filtered down in the order of your Top Ten list. So we suggest that you have the most important items at the top of your list. Think of the Patent Pending search as an upside-down pyramid. The most important things are at the top of the list. As the search progresses, each item on the list is filtered based on the results of the Top Ten item above it, so you eventually wind up with a smaller list of results at the end. Often, you may find that you wind up with no models near the bottom of the list. Don't despair, this is perfectly normal.
The results will give you lots of information that you can use to make decisions on the priorities you have set. Looking at the grid results, you can see that the "Remaining Models" whittled down to only one (1) that had all the first seven (7) Top Ten items. So now is the time to review your Top Ten list. If you feel that the last three items not being in your dream RV is okay, then you can click on the "View Results" button and look at the one (1) model that the system found.
If upon review, you decide that you would really like to try and have some more of the Top Ten list matched, then here's how to proceed. Look at the numbers in the "Total" column. That number is how many RV Models have that Top Ten match in your search. Notice that Priority 5 and 6 both have relatively low numbers. That means that having them on the list is knocking out many of the contenders. You can try moving them lower on your priority list or removing one of them altogether.
For this exercise, we made the decision to remove "Booth Style Dinette" completely and added "Fireplace" instead. We also moved the "Dishwasher or Prep" lower on the Top Ten priority. Now the results are much more satisfactory, we now have seven (7) models that match all of our Top Ten items!

- Print out this list if needed
- Select a few alternates, just in case your TOP TEN doesn’t produce the matches you had hoped

- Figure out the type of RV that you’d be willing to buy. We recommend not narrowing this down too much if possible. You may find that the RVs that match your TOP TEN are not available in the type that you originally wanted.
- Enter in any weights for pulling a trailer. If you're searching for Class A style along with trailer, then you should leave these zero (0)
- Click the items in the Top Ten list that you want to have in your RV
- Adjust the list so that the most important Top Ten items are closer to the top
- Click the “SEARCH FOR RV’S” button
- Click the view results button next to the lowest cumulative score
